Jack Lindsey Hahn, 67, of Glen Allen, Mo., died Nov. 2, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.. Born on June 10, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., he was the son of Eldon and Loretta Rose Hahn. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a helicopter door gunner. Following this military service he enlisted in the Air Force as a helicopter technician. He was awarded many awards to include Air Medal with ten oak leaf clusters, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force and Army Commendation Medals. After retiring from the military he worked as an independent contractor for the Department of Defense.

He married Cathy J. Cox in California. She survives. He is also survived by his mother, Loretta Hahn of Granite City, Ill.; two brothers: Kenny and David Hahn, both of Granite City; a sister, Phyllis Quinn, of St. Charles, Mo.; a son, Kenny Hahn; two step-sons: David Bragg and Jonathan Beck both of Glen Allen; and a granddaughter, Tyanna Dickson of Jackson, Mo.

A memorial service with military honors will be conducted on Nov. 18, 2016, at 2 PM in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo. Hutchings Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund in the name of Jack Hahn.
