Timothy Dale Shell

Timothy Dale Shell, 58, was born on July 18, 1959, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Waymond Dale and Linda Lou Harris Shell. He died on September 22, 2017, at his home in Marble Hill surrounded by his family.

Tim was 24 years old when he was severely injured at his job working for Campbell's Soup Co., in Omaha, Nebraska. He spent many years recovering from this accident. He is remembered for his positive attitude, and telling bad jokes. He was always willing to help others. He was a member of Little Valley Church, a big Cardinal baseball fan, and enjoyed bow hunting. Two note worthy life events were being the soundman for the Chuck Berry band, and appearing six times at the Price Is Right TV game show.

He is survived by four children: Travis Shell of Wright City, Mo., Kelly (Christina) Miller of Waterloo, Iowa, Sarah (Chris) McWilliams of Leopold, Mo., and Ryan Shell of Marble Hill; a brother, Anthony (Connie) Shell of St. Charles, Mo.; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

His parents preceded him in death.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
