Teresa Elaine Cureton, 54, of Marble Hill, Mo., passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018,
at her home. Born at Fort Ord, Calif., on November 7, 1963, she was the daughter of William Lee and Iva Jane Stewart Hale.
She had worked for the City of Chaffee Police Department as a dispatcher since 2009.
She also worked part-time as a med-tech, RA, CNA at local nursing homes.
She is survived by two children: Rusty Cureton of Marble Hill and Jennifer (Todd) Cook of Glen Allen, Mo.; her parents: Bill and Kathy Hale of Advance, Mo.; two brothers: Richard (Colleen) Hale and Ronnie Hale, both of Marble Hill; two sisters: Melissa (Porkey) Devenport and Teleitha (Tim) Hulvey, both of Marble Hill; Richard Cureton, father of her children, and ten grandchildren: Derek, Kyle, Alexis, Logan and Raeleigh Cook, Rylie Hutchings, Peyton, Levii, Greyson and Miley Long. Her mother and a brother, Dennis, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday, March 5, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. from Hutchings Funeral Chapel. Rev. Micah Bristow will officiate. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
