Robert was a well-rounded, mechanical person. He supported his family by driving truck, operating a dozer and backhoe, working in timber and as a mechanic and builder of log loaders. During free time he enjoyed fishing, picking junk, and being with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters: Robin (Donald) Cureton and Nadine (Wesley) Lemons, both of Hiram; a brother, Lloyd Ray (Marie) Green; three sisters: Martha Young, Faye Groppe and Ann Borcherding; and four grandchildren: Donald Cureton, Jr., Lily Cureton (Ian Moore), Areka (Codey) Miles and Weston Iverson. Besides his wife he is preceded in death by two brothers: Edgar and David Green, and sisters: Vercie Haydu, Carrie Cook and Doris Green.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Cowan Cemetery near Hiram, Mo. Hutchings Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. ">

Robert Junior Green

Robert Junior "Bugs" Green, 72, of Hiram, Mo., passed away at his home on March 24, 2018. Born in the community of Hiram on Nov. 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Pete and Flossie Moyers Green. He married Carol Sue Weston on July 29, 1967. She preceded him in death in 2010.
