Was born in St. Louis Missouri, on July 27, 1956, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian Jefferies Schultz. She departed earthly life on April 13, 2018, from St. Francis Medical Center in
Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She was 61 years, eight months and 17 days of age. Deborah married William Kirkpatrick on December 28, 1985,
-- a date William never forgot.
Deborah loved to camp and fish. When she was camping or fishing, one could not wipe the smile from her face. She once caught so many fish from the same pond the family was sure it was a record. She loved her family and her husband. But they were never sure who came first -- the family or her three beloved dogs, Mertel, Bubba, and Sissy. William always suspected he could be fourth. Deborah had worked several jobs in her life, to include CMT and EMT, but her happiest job was driving a truck with William. She was a fair and honest woman.
She is survived by her husband, William; children: Emily (Matthew) Trip and Becky Bangert, both of Sedgewickville, and Mandy Kirkpatrick of Marble Hill; a son Jake (Joe) Kirkpatrick of Leslie, Mo.; one sister, Mary (Randy) Long of Marble Hill; and eight grandchildren. Her parents; a daughter, Sarah Hamm; brothers: Donald Jefferies and Sanford Ladwig; and one sister, Jackie Schultz, predeceased her.
Many other family and friends will mourn her passing.
Visitation and funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and go until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Otis Long will officiate and burial will follow in Pulliam Cemetery near Patton, Mo.
