Clayton C. Lee, 75, of Marble Hill, Mo., died May 25, 2018, at his home. Born in Oran, Mo., on Dec. 14, 1942, he was the son of Carlton and Mary Ellen Crowden Lee.
He married Shirley Maxine Bailey on Nov. 23, 1963, in Zalma, Mo. She survives.
He worked as a self-employed logger. For past-times he enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Clayton “Bud” Lee of Marble Hill; a grandson, Caleb Lee, of Marble Hill; a great grandson, Lane Lee; and a sister, Eleanor Cox of Kansas City, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Christopher Lee, and two brothers: Carol Crowden and Junior Ferguson.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at noon. Funeral services will be at the funeral chapel with Rev. Gerald Huff officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Baker Cemetery.
