Carol Jean Walker
Was born into earthly life on May 25, 1939, in Dudley, Mo., the daughter of David Ezra and Dorothy Hastel Johnson Mallory. She was born into eternal life on May 27, 2018,
from Christian Adult Care in Mesa, Ariz.
She was 79 years, and two days of age.
Carol married Lowell Hubert Walker on June 29, 1958, at Glen Allen, Mo. To their union a son, Harley Richard Walker, was born. In 1965 they moved to Michigan, where they made their home. Carol worked for the public school system in.
food preparation. They loved to travel and be active in their church.
When work retirement arrived they moved back to Missouri. Carol and Lowell volunteered at the local food pantry, did more traveling, and looked after their older relatives. New Salem Baptist Church was their church family.
They supported and remained active with the church ministries for many years.
They happily built a new house on Carolís ancestral home place near Glen Allen. Lowell died on March 29, 2008. Carol enjoyed her home, but as she grew older she decided to be closer to Harley. She moved to Monroe, Mich., where she lived until July 2017, when she joined her brother and sister, John and Betty Mason, in Arizona.
She is survived by Harley and his wife, Doreen Walker, of Monroe, Mich., her brother and sister, John
and Betty, in Arizona.
Other family and friend will mourn her passing.
Visitation and funeral services will be on Saturday, June 2 2018, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Poole of New Salem Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Allen Cemetery.
