Daniel Gale Singleton, age 62, of Marble Hill Mo., died June 24, 2018, after a prolonged bout with cancer. On September 15, 1955, Dan was born to Stanley and Elizabeth (Gerber) Singleton in Madison WI.

Dan spent much of his adult life serving his country in the US Army obtaining the rank of Major. Dan was a veteran of Desert Storm where he earned many military honors. In civilian life Dan was a member of the Wild Turkey Federation. Dan loved the outdoors and hunting. Dan was also a teacher at Gorman Middle School in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Dan is survived by a brother, Dr. Mark Denner of Florida, four sisters: Judy (Bill) Robertson of North Carolina, Joyce (Dave) Kuhn of Arizona, Julie (Jeff) Sar of Florida, and Joan (Tom) Binnie of Marble Hill, Mo. Two nieces, Cheyenne and Sierra Binnie and three nephews, Eric Kraske, John and Paul Denner will also miss their Uncle Dan. A brother, Gary (Francis) Denner left earthly life before Dan.

A celebration of life will be conducted at Avalon Cemetery in Avalon Mo., at a date to be decided in October 2018. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
