Paul Edward Dry, Sr., 86, of Glen Allen passed away January 28, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Richmond Heights, Mo. He was born September 11, 1923, at St. Louis, Mo., the son of Norval Lynn and Lillie Henley Dry.

He was a Navy veteran of WWII, serving as a CB in the Pacific Theatre. On June 30, 1949, he married the love of his life and faithful companion of 60 years, Freda M. McIntyre, in St. Louis. After 35 years of service, he retired from the General Motors Assembly Plant in St. Louis and moved to Glen Allen.

He is survived by his wife, and a son, Paul E. Dry, Jr. of St. Louis; one sister, Opal Moore, of Scopus, Mo, and five grandchildren. His daughter, Katrina Perry, and 11 brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Vistation and funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Burial was in Baker Cemetery with military honors.
