Elliot Brady Bollinger
was born March 2, 1962, at Cape Girardeau, Mo., the son of William Dean and Donna Sue Dunn Bollinger. He departed earthly life on Sunday, April 18, 2010, at his home in Glen Allen, Mo., following a valiant struggle with cancer.
Brady graduated from Woodland High School and started working with well drilling. He worked with his brothers, Roger and Dean, and Dean Tinnin drilling shallow oil and gas wells. At Mt. Sterling, Ill., he continued oil and gas drilling with his brothers. Eventually they moved to water well drilling. Brady and Dean started their water well drilling company, B & B Drilling, in 1992. Later he worked in northern Georgia for Fowler Drilling. He moved back to Missouri and worked as a logger with Larry Wilkerson and Cory Gables. Brady’s favorite
past times were drilling, having a good time with his friends and family and taking care, being with his mother.
He is survived by his mother, Donna, of Marble Hill, Mo. and three children: Jill Bollinger of Mt. Sterling, Ill, Scott Bollinger of Illinois, and Brandi Bollinger of Canton, Georgia; and one brother, Roger Bollinger, of Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, his brother, Dean, and a niece, Suzanne Nicole Bollinger.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be at the chapel on Wed., April 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Hahn Chapel Cemetery.
