Garry Eugene Lincoln, 62, of Marble Hill, Mo., died June 17, 2010, in the emergency room at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born in Cape Girardeau on June 19, 1947, the son of Dwel Wayne and Juanita Limbaugh Lincoln.

Garry graduated from Patton High School in 1965. He was drafted into the Army on July 19, 1966. His Army duty included a tour in Vietnam as an armor trackman. On July 9, 1968, he left the Army. He married Ann Taylor in Joliet, Ill., on Dec. 7, 1968.

Garry and Ann were the parents of two sons: Scott Lincoln of Cape Girardeau and Tony Lincoln of Marble Hill. Garry worked for the Missouri Highway Department from the Patton shed. At his retirement he was the Maintainence Shed foreman at Patton.

Garry was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed hunting deer and the wiley coyote. His greatest enjoyment was being with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a brother, Jimmy Lincoln of Millersville, Mo., and a sister, Glenda Hanners of Marble Hill. A brother, Wendel Lincoln, predeceased him.

Visitation will be Saturday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Sunday from 9 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Roy Michael and Dr. John Englehart officiating. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lincoln, Tony Lincoln, Sr., Scott Lincoln, T.J. Lincoln, Jarret Lincoln, Jenna Lincoln, Morgan Lincoln, and Wyatt Lincoln.
